ICX 8100 Compact Switch, 16×10/100/1000 Mbps PoE+ 802.3at, 30W Class 4 ports, 2×1GbE SFP uplink-ports, 124W PoE budget. Power cord not included The ICX8100-C16P provides 124 W of PoE budget across 16 powered ports, making it a strong fit for VoIP phones, surveillance cameras, and wireless access points in branch offices, classrooms, and distributed workspaces. Two 1G SFP slots give you fiber uplink options for cleaner aggregation to a distribution switch or core, especially where longer runs or EMI-sensitive pathways make copper less attractive. That combination helps keep the access layer compact while preserving the network design choices that matter in real deployments. This model is a good fit when you want a switch that does more than basic port expansion. The PoE budget is sized for practical endpoint mixes, and the SFP uplinks make it easier to integrate into structured cabling environments. For teams standardizing on Ruckus switching, it offers a focused balance of port density, power delivery, and uplink versatility without unnecessary complexity.
