ICX 8100 Switch, 8x 10/100/1000 ports, 2 x 1G SFP uplink-ports, advanced layer 2, 124W PoE budget The RUCKUS ICX 8100 compact switch combines 8 10/100/1,000 Mbps PoE+ ports with 2 1G SFP uplinks, giving IT teams a practical access-layer platform for branch offices, small wiring closets, and distributed edge deployments. A 124 W PoE budget supports common powered devices without forcing a separate power strategy for each endpoint. That matters when you are standardizing on a compact switch that still needs to handle phones, cameras, and wireless access points with predictable power delivery. The 2 SFP uplinks add upstream flexibility for aggregation or fiber handoff, which helps keep the design clean as the network grows. This model is a strong fit when you want enterprise-grade access switching without paying for port density you will not use. It is compact, power-aware, and sized for environments where rack space, cable management, and deployment simplicity all matter. For teams comparing entry-level PoE switches, the combination of PoE budget, uplink options, and RUCKUS access switching makes this a more durable choice for production networks. Features: 8 x 10/100/1,000 Mbps PoE+
