Loose tube cables are the best choice for use as the main infrastructure in outside plant (OSP) environments. The strong loose tube design ensures consistent transmission performance across a wide temperature range. Optical fibers and water-blocking elements are carefully placed inside gel-free buffer tubes. The core is formed by arranging the buffer tubes around a central member using a reverse oscillating lay (ROL) technique. Flexible strength members, covered with a water-blocking tape, wrap the core, and a corrugated steel armor is applied before encasing it in a black jacket. Ripcords are conveniently included under the armor for easy access. Product Features Multiple fiber-type including composite Dry (SAP) core standard Standard tube size for all fiber-count Corrugated steel armor High fiber density Multiple network application Reduce cable prep and installation time Reduce the number of tool required Improves compressive strength and rodent protection Speed fiber access and cleaning
